Institution Building Support Scheme

Institution Building Support Scheme (IBSS) is a unique scheme aimed at helping selected Voluntary Organizations (VO's) in their capacity building -for a more professionalized function. It was launched in May 2007 with an assured support from some well-wishers and mainly by the help ‘India Development Relief Fund' and 'Seva International'.

There is no shortage of devoted volunteers or say social devotees keep working for the purpose of social uplift. However, their work remains deficient due to lack of technicality and suitable management consequently, such Social-cause dedicated organizations started withering away. Taking in to account the situation of diffident NGOs, Prabodhini attempted to rejuvenate worthy among them.

The main objective of this Institution Building project is to help the overall process of Organizational Development (OD) of selected voluntary organizations (VOs) operating in India by making them more professional and effective in their functioning. Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini (RMP) will monitor this scheme as a nodal agency. Like-minded Non-resident Indians and their organizations abroad will financially support this scheme.
